Hello,

I am planning to replace my RUT240 with RUTX11. Can I use the RUT240 power plug for the RUTX11?

The power plug and the cable are mounted in a hard to reach place that's why I want to replace the unit only and not the power cable.

Is it possible to use the RUT240 power cable to power the RUTX11? Is there any disadvantage?

Thank you.

Hello,

To answer your question in short, yes you can use the same power cable. Both devices are shipped with the same PSU. It is recommended to check your RUT240 and RUTX11 PSU watts. There could be 4 versions (4.5W, 9W, 18W, and 24W).

Regards.

Hello,

Thank you for your answer. For the RUTX11 I have the 18W PSU, but I can't check the PSU for the RUT240.

Is it an issue if it's not 18W?

On RUT2 the PSU is most likely 9 W. However, it will work with RUTX nonetheless.
