Custom APNs do not work at all in TRB145.

IoT sims in India work through a specific APN but TRB145 does not seem to make any changes if a custom APN is entered.

Is this a bug in the firmware? How to get around this problem? Can it be achieved through SMS commands?

Getting the following response through CLI interface:



root@Teltonika-TRB145:~# uci get network.mobile.apn
uci: Entry not found

Does that mean that there is no apn set in the device even on auto mode?

#uci show network

Shows the following info. This means that the apn is set as I was trying to set.

network.mob1s1a1.apn='iot.com'

Hello,

Regarding your issue could you send me the troubleshoot file so that i can check further.

Make sure the device is turned on for 5-10mins before downloading the troubleshoot file.

It was a network issue with the operator. Got sorted. SIM could only send data to some whitelisted IPs.
