When I select the wifi drop down menu in the MacBook taskbar there is no RUT950_xxxx access. point listed.

There is an access point in the wireless section.  See attachment.

Make sure your device is running the latest software version, if necessary, update it: https://wiki.teltonika-networks.com/view/RUT950_Firmware_Downloads


Are the right WiFi antennas being used, are they properly attached and are you close enough to the RUT955?

And what about other devices? Have you tried connecting to the RUT950 with another device, such as a smartphone?

Basically, we need to find out if this RUT955 doesn’t emit wireless internet or just the MacBook doesn’t see it.

The MacBook connects by wifi to other sources and also connects by ethernet cable.

There is no wifi signal from the RUT950 visible from an iPhone.

The router has been returned for replacement or refund.
