Hi

I have an IPTV service from BT here in the UK.  Their service uses IGMPv3.

When my IPTV box is connect to my RUT240 I cannot receive their TV service.  If I bypass the RUT240 and connect directly to my ADSL service I can receive their TV service.

I once had a similar problem with a network switch that didn't support IGMPv3.

Does anyone know if the RUT240 supports IGMPv3?

Thanks - James

Hello,

Unfortunately, our routers do not support IGMPv3 protocol. But rutOS is openwrt based and you could search for openwrt IGMPv3 package and install it in RUT240. I tried to look for solutions in OpenWrt forums and you may find this useful:https://openwrt.org/docs/guide-user/network/wan/udp_multicast

Regards.
