I have an application that tells the current public ip address of the teltonika. But when i send the Get/Post HTTP request to that particular IP, it does not trigger the relay. I Have the http access enabled in the router. Is there anything I'm missing ? When i try it with the [private ip its works, as my router and my pc is connected to the same switch. Thanks!!!

Hello,

Could you try enabling the Remote HTTPS and HTTP access on the said device and test?
You can configure it in System > Administration > Access Control

If issue still persist may i get a copy of your troubleshoot file. But try to execute the HTTP/POST command first via Public IP before getting the troubleshoot file.

Hope it helps.

Hey is it because my ip is a shared ip. Because also tried to connect using Dynamic DNS, but failed as they say that if my WAN is always showing a private IP, that means i am using a shared IP and not a dynamic one.

Hello,

You can refer to this link: https://wiki.teltonika-networks.com/view/Private_and_Public_IP_Addresses. In short the IP address you are having is on Private IP meaning it is not reachable online in the internet. The usage of Dynamic DNS will not solve the issue. You need to have a public ip on the device itself to make this feature work in any network.

Hope it helps
