Wan Failover Reports via Email only works, if NO EVENT SUPTYPE is selected. It does nor work on any of the Subtypes!

Many functions of this device appear to have never been tested. Very frustrating...

I have this exact same problem. I am using FW RUTX_R_00.02.05.1

As the OP said, if a failover event subtype is selected, alert emails fail without a log entry. However 'Test Emails' work correctly.

If no failover event subtype is selected, alert emails work.

The subtype is important for clarifying whether Main or Mobile has triggered the Failover event.

I have two RUTX11's and they both have the same bug. Please recreate yourselves and fix this Teltonika, these Routers rock otherwise! :)

Hello,

May i know what firmware are you using is it on the latest one?? Also a copy of a troubleshoot file would be a great help. If you are using an old firmware kindly upgrade it to the latest one available on this link: https://wiki.teltonika-networks.com/view/RUTX11_Firmware_Downloads

Hope it helps.

Hello,
yes, the latest firmware is installed. Troubleshoot file does not include "failover" key-word and/or hints pointing at the problem. Also the "REBOOT" events are still NOT reported by email. The REBOOT issue was aready recognized as failure by Teltonika some weeks ago, but latest firmware did not include a fix!

Hello,

I am currently waiting for the troubleshoot file on your side to check what seems to be the issue.
