How do I update the firmeware opn my RUT950?

Its currently running on RUT9XX_R_00.02.821 which was 2016

Same for the bootloader

Hi,

You can update the firmware via the router's WebUI, System → Firmware page. New firmwares and Bootloaders for RUT9XX routers can be downloaded from here.

Hi everyone,

I got a RUT950 and tried to upgrade it through the web interface, but it failed. The firmware binaries are something like 10 MB, but my device shows only about 8 MB of free space, so I got an error message.

Updating through the bootloader mode worked, but that is not really a feasible option if the router is out in the field. Is it somehow possible to remotely update the device? Or is it only supported by devices with more space?
