Hello,

I backupped my RUT240 device via RMS and after that created a test file via CLI to device storage. After that I restored the config but my test file still exists.

Is it so that backups doesnt affect to filesystem? Is there a way to create a template from custom config which can be uploaded to devices?

Hello,

Could you please clarify what are you trying to achieve ?

Could you be more specific ?

Backup file could be downloaded from the RMS Devices>Export>Backup then can be uploaded to the Files in the RMS.

Thank you.

Regards,

Ahmed.

Thank you for your answer.

I would like to write my own script for industry control needs. I would like to run that script on the Teltonika device. That concept should be easily multiplied in big amount of devices without manually configure all the device settings and copying the script.

btw. the device is RUT950, not 240 as i first said.

Hello,

As i understand you want to add some scripts to the backup file and as the scripts are not saved in the backup file you are trying to find a way to prevent from doing all this manually on each device.

So, there is a way to write a script on the router firmware and once this script is uploaded in the SDK file it would not remove.

SDK file for Rut950 for latest fw could be downloaded here :

For the instructions please follow this link:

I hope it helps.
