I upgraded a RUT955 from firmware 06.07 to 06.07.1.

Before the upgrade, storage memory expansion (using an USB stick) was active.
After the firmware upgrade, most things have "vanished", like new directories created on root level, packages installed (e.g. python), init scripts etc.

I cannot find anything in the docs to explain this. (Of course I checked the "Keep all settings" checkbox when upgrading.)

Is this normal? This would prevent me from ever updating unit in the field! (Fortunately this one is still sitting on my desk, but needs to go into production ASAP.)

Regards,
Christian

Does no one have the same problem, an explanation or something?

Hello,

Sorry for the late reply. Unfortunately, this RUT955 functionality is still in development and there is no way to save external memory storage after the update. RUTX devices though should be doing what has been explained above without a problem.
