Hello,

Could you elaborate more on your issue? What is the exact issue with passthrough/bridge modes? A link to your thread would be useful.

@VykintasKuzma any update on this ?

Hello,

I read the thread you have linked to me and I could not reproduce the issue. Could you write instruction on what you are doing and the expected /unwanted results of your configuration.

Regards.

Hi

There is alot of questions about the bridge / pass mode DHCP bug,

Have you spoken to any of your coworkers that we have send support files to ?
by anonymous
Yes, I had. I asked ErnestasB, and as far as he remembers, he could not reproduce the issue too. I would like you to specify and provide information with as many details as you can. Then I will test everything.

Hi

He did not answer me , just said that he will talk to R&D , then silence!

This is the same problems I see ,

https://community.teltonika-networks.com/23912/rutx09-bridge-mode-mac-address-failure

And yes your team can not reproduce the problem , but why are we multiple customers with this problem?

Hello,

What I did was reset my router to the default configuration, then my router automatically picked up the mobile connection after a few minutes (for some operators it will require entering a custom APN first). Then I edited my mobile interface settings to set the mode to Bridged. After applying changes my PC got mobile IP address:

Hi

Did a test now on four firewalls and it gets the IP i can ping etc but its slow and after X min its dead.

If i look at your pic im missing the TOP "Mobile" tab ..why ?

I will send you a support file in PM

Hello,

If I understand correctly, you are saying that you are missing Protocol "Mobile" dropdown in the interface configuration?

If that is the case try to reflash your firmware without keeping settings, or even better, do it via the bootloader menu and check if it reappears: https://wiki.teltonika-networks.com/view/RUTXxx_Firmware_via_The_Bootloader_Menu

Regards.

by anonymous
Thanks , will try that !

Did the support file tell you something wrong ?
by anonymous
Unfortunately, no. Could not see anything strange happening in the troubleshoot yet. But once you reflash your firmware (don't forget to use the latest one), please set up bridge mode again and if it will not work again, then send me another log file.
