Hi

I have a RUT995 SW RUT9XX_R_00.06.07 with a windows computer connected

I remote access the computer using Anydesk

The RUT995 is powered up 24/7 while the computer is powered up when required. Every so often, maybe once a month, the computer powers but thinks it doesnt have internet access. I can access the RUT995 remotely and also access an IP camera that is connected to the RUT995. I can see the computer on the topology menu of the RUT995 and software on the computer can connect to the SSH server of the RUT995. I can power the computer up and down without it connecting to the internet.

When this state occurs, I cannot access the computer using Anydesk. The only resolution I have found is to reboot the RUT995.

Any advice to stop this happening would be appreciated

Thank You

Hi

Perhaps, after turning on the PC, the computer repeatedly requests IP from the DHCP server and for some reason does not receive it or does not accept it. Sometimes this is solved by updating the network card driver.

I would recommend that you configure a static IP address and gateway on your computer.

Hi,

Thanks for y6our advice. I have already set up a static IP in an attempt to stop it from happening. I haven't checked on the driver though.

I have two systems that are doing it, both similar hardware.
