Hello Teltonika Guru's,

I'm using on this moment a cloud service to send sms message to our customers. On that platform I can change the Originator of the sms to for example business, or my own mobile phone number. Is this also possible to do with the Sms gateway on the Teltonika gataway's on for example the rut240?

Hello, 

RUT devices support SMS gateway functionality that allows you to send SMS via Post/Get, Email to SMS, SMS Forwarding, and SMPP.

The scenario that you want to achieve is possible but depending on the SMPP server you are using. But I would like to clarify we cannot provide support on 3rd party platforms you are going to integrate with our devices.

Thanks for your repsonse, and I have read the wiki page.

Only there I did not see a parameter "from" so I guess trough the sms gateway it's not possible to change the from number.

This would only be possible by using a 3th party service like Twilio.

Did I understand that correctly?

Yes, it may be possible but as what informed you the use of 3rd party platform or software on our devices we cannot provide support for that but if you want to develop such functionality it's better to communicate with your sales manager.
