Can the GNSS chipset be  disabled in sw to lower power consumption?

Alternatively, is there a model with NO GNSS?

cheers,

Hi,

About which series are we talking about? RUT9 or RUTX?

Both.

We want to use the routers at sites that already have a geodetic grade GNSS receiver so the built in one is surplus to requirements. As such, we like it powered down.

Cheers,

It can be disabled through SW, download SDK and follow instructions on how to compile your own firmware. This way you will be able to disable GNSS functionality.
