Hi,

We are testing the TSW100 switch (serial 1109059525) for our system, and we struggle to get jumbo frames working. The setup is computer -> switch -> Gige Poe cameras ( FLIR Blackfly s cameras).

When we set the mtu to 9000 on both ends, the images is not received on the computer. At 1500 mtu it works. Other switches from different manufacturers has been tested without this issue. Tested with single camera and multiple connected.

On the feature page for this switch it is described that it supports jumbo frames up to 9216 bytes. Is there anything we are missing?

Any tips is greatly appreciated!

Hello!

As far as I know, in the configurator of these cameras it is possible to test the network and find out the Maximum Packet Size.

Could you do this?

Hello, any new occurencies in this topic?

Because I have exactly the same problem. I have set up 9000 bytes packet size on both ends, and without switch I have no problem. With switch I can use only 1500 bytes for working state.

The Pylon Bandwith optimizer gave me Packet Size 1500, so this is no solution for this issue.

Thank you for any suggestion!
