I have a RUT240 With a vodafone SIM, this is saying it is connected to the network and has resolved an IP.

However, when trying to connect to the internet through the router it will not connect.

The same sim card in a mobile phone works and gives internet access.

The same simcard in a RUT230 also works correctly.

Did you ever solve this?  I have a similar problem, also with Vodafone.

Hello,

Please make sure you go through these steps:

1. Check if you have set-up Custom APN in Network > Mobile page. Custom APN should be given by your operator or could be found on their page.

2. Check if your firmware version is the latest.

3. Check if in Network > WAN mobile is selected as main WAN interface.

4. Check if you can ping from CLI to outside network or is it only your computer that doesn't get internet connection from RUT240.

5. Reset your router to factory defaults.

I have the same issue, RUT 240 and Vodafone network. SIM works in a phone and I can brows web, in the router it connects to the mobile network but no Internet traffic.

Trying to ping 8.8.8.8 from diagnostic menu, no reply.

Did you fix this?
