Hello, I have Teltonika RB140 with latest firmware TRB1_R_00.02.05.2. I have a problem with bridge or passthrough mode. My router obtained public IP from my ISP , internet working fine. But I can't reach my public IP from the Internet. No VPN connection, no access to HTTPS on my router. Seems like Teltonika blocking some ports. I tried bridge and passthrough mode with no luck. Do you have any idea what can be wrong, why I can't reach my public IP?

Ps.

My ISP gives me public IP with working VPN and any other services.

Hello,

Could you try to test using it on the normal mode (NAT) instead of passthrough and try pinging your public ip address if it is reachable through the web. Also could you check if the router IP if it is the same when your visiting https://icanhazip.com

If yes let me know.

Jerome

Hello.

I use it in NAT mode now. I also use port forwarding rules and I can reach my router and VPN services from the Internet. ICMP responding correctly also. The public IP which I have now on RB140 is the same which I have on my router when RB140 works in bridge mode. But in this case, I can't reach my router from the internet.

Hello,

May I know what services are you trying to reach? In bridge mode you will be assigning the public to the MAC address you indicated. Let say you assigned it to another router X. Router X will be having the public IP address then he will be the one managing the services which should reach which.

Router X have connected device like web server on 192.168.10.100. So Router X need to forward HTTP Services to 192.168.10.100

For example https. If I have RB140 in NAT mode and made port forwarding to my router I can log from the Internet to it (web panel on the router). If I switched RB140 to bridge mode, my router obtained public IP but I can't reach HTTPS (web panel) or VPN services on my router. Somehow RB140 block incoming traffic to my router.

"Router X have connected device like web server on 192.168.10.100. So Router X need to forward HTTP Services to 192.168.10.100"

It's obvious but we don't speak about that situation.

Hello,

Could you try to re-flash the firmware to the latest one available here without keeping the settings.

TRB140 Firmware Downloads - Teltonika Networks Wiki (teltonika-networks.com)

If issue still persist could you get the troubleshoot file and send it via PM?
