Question

We are switching from RUT230 to RUT240. Since we fit the RUTXXX in a custom housing which only provides two monting opportunities for antennas, I have a problem with the new AUX Antenna. Do I realy need to connect it? Or does it also work with only the MAIN Antenna connected?

Hi,

If you only need to keep the connection, send or receive small chunks of data - then you can use only Main. Though it's really recommended to have them both connected, as it is used for cellular diversity (will keep your signal strength and download speeds better).
