Question

Hi,

I have actually two Rut955 in front of me with two different Bootloaders.
Is it possible to upgrade the Bootloader to get the same version on both Router?
Which is the newest Bootloader for The Rut955?

Router 1 is from Batch 051 and has a Bootloader with V3.0.1

Router 2 is from Batch 093 and has a Bootloader with V3.2.5

I have already seen that different Bootloaders does seem not to work on older Routers.
I think this is the reason why the bootloader files was removed?
Can this be categorized to Router Batches or Serial Numbers?

Hello

Why do you want to update the bootloader? The router's bootloader doesn't affect the functionalities of the router. Installing a newer version of the bootloader in the router will not give positive results.

I have seen different changes in the changelog before the the Bootloader entrys were removed.
Where i think effects the stability of the router.

I think there was something like changed voltage of DRAM?

Cant it still not be possible to check which routers are able to run which Bootloader?

The bootloader doesn’t affect the stability of the router. Most of the problems are fixed with the firmware version. We don’t currently provide the bootloader to our customers.
