Hi all,

I'm in the process of configuring/deploying the RUT950. I need to get WiFi Calling for mobiles up and running and to do that I need to enable or ensure:

1. IPSec pass-through is enabled
2. Certificate Fragmentation is enabled or supported

Anyone able to confirm? I can't see the settings called that anywhere in the config pages.

Cheers,

Matt

Hello,

1. In essence, RUT2 and RUT9 Teltonika series router's IPsec has "NAT Traversal" which allows unrestricted IPsec traffic. I.e. you can establish IPsec tunnel in both cases:

  • When between both IPsec endpoints there is another router with enabled NAT
  • When IPsec "server" receives its Public IP address from another router ("Bridge mode").

Therefore you can say, that Teltonika routers supports IPsec passthough (even though it is called in different name).

2. Teltonika router's IPsec does not support certificates (authentication is based only on password).
