Hello, how can i check by SMS if my RUT950 is succesfully logged in to external WiFi network?

Hello,

RUT950 does not have a specific SMS command to check if the router is connected to the other WiFi network, but you could use SMS utilities command status to get an SMS message containing information about the status of the router. The type of information contained within the message can be specified in the Message text field. For example connection type, WAN IP, and more.

Simply enable SMS utilities inside your router WebUI (Services > SMS Utilities) and send a message to your router that should look like this:

yourrouterpassword status

This is what i get. Is my WiFi enabled?

Router name - RUT950; WAN IP - ; Data Connection state - disconnected; Connection type - LTE; Signal Strength - -69 dBm; New FW available - No;

No, you are not. That is because you have set your connection to the mobile. To change that, log in to your router WebUI and go to Network > WAN. Select Wifi as the main or secondary WAN, press Scan, and then connect to your desired WiFi source.

You can switch your wifi on/off by sending wifion or wifioff commands using SMS utilities: https://wiki.teltonika-networks.com/view/RUT950_SMS_Utilities

Or continue using uci commands:

yourpassword uci set wireless.cfg033579.disabled=0

yourpassword uci commit

yourpassword luci-reload
