Hello,

Just wondering is it possible to setup different firewall policies/rules to different sim slots?

I mean, if deliver router to customer and we put our sim to slot sim2 (which has only 100mb mobile data transfer) and we want to block all outbound internet traffic except our management vpn connection. But if customer put their sim to slot sim1 which has (almost) unlimited data, then all outbound internet traffic would be allowed. Could it be done?

Hi,

This would require splitting firewall zones. You can do that in Network > Firewall > General Settings.

By default both mob1s1a1 and mob1s2a1 are taken into the zone, but if you remove one from the current zone and add it to the new zone created, you should be able to decide what to do with other SIM tray and reject its traffic separately.

EB.

Hello,

is this possible also for RUT240, differentiating the behavior for wired and SIM WAN interfaces?

Thanks.
