I have tried several sim cards including a known working test sim card and under Mobile it says Sim (not inserted).  I updated the firmware to 1.31.1, as suggested in other chains, and then I did a factory reset.  The device is not picking up the sim card, thus it is not connecting to the network.  What else can I do?

Hi,

Could you please send me the troubleshoot file of your device? Before downloading it make sure you let the device work with SIM inserted for about 5-10 minutes. After you downloaded it please send it to me via private message.

I have the same issue with RUT950

Both Sim slots say Sim not inserted and disconnected, I have updated firmware, tried many configs and rebooted many times.

Troubleshooter file says Sim 1 in use I have IMEI

I have swapped Sim slots...

This is an Optus data sim, tested and working.

This RUT has cost us several hours and is still not working.

Have you tried resetting your device to factory defaults?

When you insert SIM - do you reboot your device with the SIM inserted?

Have you tried other SIM cards, that are not Optus?
