I read this thread, but I cannot confirm.

RUT240 Digital input/output, Characteristic wiki shows "digital input is non-isolated". But it is not clear if digital output is isolated or not.

Optical isolate is important to prevent electrical accident between RUT240 and other outside device.

There is no isolating circuit related to digital output, so no, it's NOT isolated.

As this comment and schematic picture, digital output of RUT955 is optically isolated.

But the digital output of RUT240 is not isolated.
