Hello,

we have mobile application with battery supply. Earlier we had used GSM modems with CSD service.  Our device wakes up with DCD signal when a connection is established.

Hello!

Unfortunately, this cannot be done. Considering the RS-232 pinout in the TRB142 device:

https://wiki.teltonika-networks.com/view/TRB142_RS232#RS232_connector_pinout

There is no provision for working with DCD.

I asked because I can trace the signal on your PCB.  The driver IC and DSUB9 socket are prepared for driving the signal.

Hello!

Using gpio.sh invert SDCS option in RUT955 it is possible to invert DCD pin state.

Maybe you have RUT955 to test the feature?

Or can you specify, whether you need same feature in TRB142, which can invert DCD pin once there's traffic to serial interface when Over IP mode is used?

In this mobile application you use, can you see when DCD signal changes? Or you can only see that DCD signal changes when devices wokes up?

How did you trace the signal and drivers? What tools you used?

Best regards, Aliaksandr!
