I have a RUT955 Firmware RUT9XX_R_00.06.07.4 which is set up for failover from the WAN port to Mobile but although the mobile status is connected & shows an IP address & seems fine, failover status says WAN Failover Mobile Ready, but pulling the plug on the WAN results in internet loss.

Also if the Mobile is made primary WAN it doesn't work.
(Have put the SIM in a phone and it works fine for data) 

So it seems that although the status of the Mobile looks Ok there is no Internet access, any ideas what the problem could be?

Hello,

Could you please confirm if you are using all the mobile antennas provided in the box . 

https://wiki.teltonika-networks.com/view/Mobile_Signal_Strength_Recommendations. Signals could be seen in status>Network>Mobile  part

If you are using both the mobile antennas with good signals and there is no connectivity . 

Please try to set APN as custom, By default its auto . Uncheck the Auto APN and custom APN field will automatically fill with the correct APN and then save .

If still the issue persists could you please share a troubleshoot file for the device ?

File could be downloaded in System > Administration > Troubleshoot.

removing auto APN made it
