Hello,

I would like, by using a RUT955, to select one component among four. To do that the RUT955 should output a 2-bit information. This information could be served to interface a multiplexer (e.g CD4051).

How I could do that ? RS485, MODBUS ?

Hello,

Thank you for contacting.

Could you please be more specific ?

What are you trying to achieve ?

What kind of 2 bit data you want to output from Rut955 ?

What do you mean by component ?

Is it possible to share a topology ?

Thank you.

Have  a good day.

Something like that: the goal is to select one relay and only one according to a logic.

component: integrated circuits, etc

Hello,

I would like to know that 74LS139 is just a multiplexer and de-multiplexer  IC and it doesn't supports any protocol or driver  . So, if you are trying to control is there any software that you are using.

For the RS485 related information please find detailed functionality over here

Thank you.

I know that the 74ls139 doesn't support any protocol ! It's a decoder/demultiplexer: only one output is active.

That's why I asked a solution to interface it from a rut955.

My first idea was RS485. You confirmed my choice !
