I have a new RUT240 connected to a router via WAN2 that will not keep a stable connection to the operator, I've used TP-Links and Drayteks that were able to keep a steady connection and decided to give this one a go but I can not get it stable.

After a reboot it will stay connected for 40mins reliably before returning to its connecting disconnecting state every 3-5minutes as seen below. I have upgraded to the latest firmware 13.2 which didn't change anything. Is there anything I can do/try before I box this up and send it back.

Hi,

1. Check if your antennas are attached tightly and not loose.

2. Check if your signal is at least about -80, if not - check antennas again and that your router is not somewhere where it could block the signal.

3. Reset your router to default factory settings and set it up again, use Custom APN given by your operator.

4. Check if other operator SIM cards behave the same.

As if by magic, it appears to be behaving for the time being. Not sure what did the trick other than powering everything off & rebooting the RUT240 for the umpteenth time. The data connection has now been running for 10h, this is the most its ever done.

I shall keep an eye on it and if it falls back into this odd cycle again, ill carry out the above.

Can we get an answer to this? I have one router that shows in RMS that it has been online for 6 straight days. My other two RUT240s never get beyond 20-30 minutes before losing the connection and resetting themselves. I have reset them, installed the latest firmware, etc....
