Hello,

i have found (hard way) to down Teltonika router RUT955 (fv 6.07.4).

First of all I had had configuration that Wired connection is main and Mobile is failover (which is default)

with turn on WAN Failover:

but I have turn off WAN Failover:

and then I've lost mobile WAN to choose:

Router goes offline and I did not find any other way to turn mobile interface on.

But router use/see mobile interface because  I can see signal strength and connection details but Data connection state is Disconected.

For test and this scenario I used prepared restore point.
Is there any way to turn on mobile interface?

Best regards,
Grzegorz

I have recreated that issue twice.
In both cases I could not turn mobile interface on.

The two solution I used:
> restore point
> factory reset and configuration from scratch

Strange fact is that for one Teltonika RUT955 after factory reset I had open WIFI and other RUT955 default WIFI was secured.

Hi,

It might sound not logical, but could you please try these steps:

1. Clear your browser cache.

2. Reflash your router's firmware through bootloader menu.

3. Try configuring everything again.

i did it with the same results - after turning off WAN Failover i've lost option to turn on Mobile interface:

#0. done in cleared cache browser with incognito mode
#1. screen from bootloader

#2. Default setting for WAN (as you can see there is default IP where previously I worked in different IP range):

#3. Strange fact is that after turning off failover link i was unable to see any overview (I've waited about 5 minutes to load):

#4 result is the same. I cannot turn on mobile interface and choose it as main WAN.

Best regards,
Grzegorz

I want to make sure: through where you shut off WAN failover link? As there are two similar pages in the device, I need to know which is that.

@EB

the same as I wrote in main post:

this is the option which you can open via Status -> Network -> Topology
there: Health monitor ICMP host(s) goes to: //admin/network/multiwan:

I was able to reproduce it.

Thank you for your feedback, I will report this to RnD to be fixed ASAP.
