Hello,

The Force LTE network function makes the router forcefully connect to an LTE network at a specified period of time.

Reregister - When enabled the modem will attempt to re-register to the carrier before trying to connect to an LTE network.

Our routers sometimes switch to 3G when signal strength is poor, but some of our customers do not want that behavior to happen, that is why we created a force LTE network, it does not allow the router to switch to 2G/3G and always stays at 4g

Regards.

Where are these options in the new software RUT9_R_00.07.03 because I can't find them in either basic or advanced mode

Hello,

In the newer versions of RutOS, this option was moved to Network → Mobile → General and setting service mode to 4G (LTE) only.

Yes, but I mean where is the re-registration option in the new firmware. At the moment, I see in the logs that exactly every 300 minutes (5Hour) the modem disconnects from the operator and reconnects in a moment. I don't have anything defined in the schedule. This happens by default - I didn't change anything. That's why I'm trying to find out where the re-registration option is, which is most likely responsible for it and has a certain time defined there as to how much time is to be performed. Previously it was in the mobile tab and now I can't find it or it's not there. will you help?

Hello,

This may be an issue with your mobile operator, as 300 minutes sounds like tik could be a period of DHCP lease. Does your Mobile IP change every time the router re-registers?

It would be great if you could replicate the issue (router getting disconnected), navigate to System → Administration → Troubleshoot and generate a Troubleshoot file. It can be attached to the original post. It will only be visible to Teltonika moderators.

Best regards,

As part of the tests, I uploaded openwrt to rut955. And as you can see, the connection uptime is almost 1 day old. Nothing interrupts and nothing breaks apart. I'm testing it in Poland while connected to the orange network. The fact that after inserting the play network card rut955 worked properly on the original rutos firmware. Nevertheless, in the case of the orange network, as I showed, something is wrong, since on openwrt it keeps the session for so long and on rutos it breaks every 5h (300min).

When I downdgrade to FW version: RUT9XX_R_00.06.08.6 rut955 work very good. Connection is stable for all time. So something has been broken in the latest firmware or maybe even a little earlier

The same problem applies to the RUT240 model. In firmware RUT2_R_00.07.02.7 and above this problem occurs. In RUT2XX_R_00.01.14.6 it does not exist. I tested it and it works stably.
