Hi,

I am trying to read/send data over DOCKLIGHT using the RS232 pin output of the device with a RS232 converter.

I activated RS232 from the device interface.

I am using the latest firmware. I found another configuration in the firewall, but I have no idea what to do.

I looked at the wiki page, but it was stated that it was enough to enable it. I also observed that there is no problem with the transmission of the pins. Is there a different setting I should make in the device interface? Although I have enable RS232 for now, I cannot start it.

Hello,

The guide is right and you should not need to do anything in your firewall settings by default.

To test your RS232 cable and pinouts setup, could you try to enable RS232 over the console. This guide is for RUT9 devices but it is exactly the same for RUTOS devices: https://wiki.teltonika-networks.com/view/Command_Line_Interfaces

I studied the last example on your link. I tried using MOXA and RS232 console mode.

I am facing such a problem, I set the baudrate values the same. Why might be problem be caused?

It's my fault. I solved this problem. but I still trying to read/send data over DOCKLIGHT using the RS232 pin output of the device with a RS232 converter. I cannot find the cause of the problem.
