Hello,

Thank you for reaching us.

How is everything connected ?

Could you draw a topology with IP addresses and ports being used?

Could you check in Windows setting , adapter settings if its on DHCP or static IP. If its on static is it configured with proper IP address, subnet mask and default gateway . Also have you tried to set the correct DNS server manually if its on auto.

Could you share the configurations screenshot of the Teltonika and non Teltonika router and PC adapter settings.

Make sure the said device is not blacklisted in the router .

Thank you.

Regards,

Ahmed

Hello Ahmed.

I reset the router to factory settings. The client at the RUT can access everything on the Internet and in the network in front of the RUT.

Windows client (192.168.1.170/24): DHCP to LAN2 of RUT955 (192.168.1.1)
RUT955 (192.168.178.22/24): WAN - DHCP - Internet router (FritzBox - 192.168.178.1)
DNS on all devices auto.

From Windows-Client:
ping 192.168.178.1 - OK.
ping 8.8.8.8 - OK

After I create an OpenVPN client configuration (AddNew only)

From Windows-Client:
ping 192.168.178.1 - OK.
ping 8.8.8.8 - OK

After editing the client configuration (Enable OpneVPN config from file) without activating the OpenVPN instance and no certificates.

From Windows-Client:
ping 192.168.178.1 - timeout
ping 8.8.8.8 - timeout

ping from the web front end of the RUT (System-> Administration-> Diagnostic) works fine.

Do the same again from the beginning (factory reset) - OpenVPN (addNew) but now enter the configuration manually without activating the OpenVPN instance and no certificates.

From Windows-Client:
ping 192.168.178.1 - OK.
ping 8.8.8.8 - OK

I hope it is understandable.

Hello.

I removed the ip address and the port before posting. the IP address is an IpV4.

the problem occurs before I start openvpn, when configuring via the conf file.

thanks

Could you please share a trouble shoot file with the event that you are reporting and also share the configuration file in DM.

Troubleshoot file could be downloaded in System>Administration>Troubleshoot.

Please make sure device is on for at least 10-15 minutes before you download the troubleshoot file. And try to regenerate the issue

again before you download the troubleshoot file.

Thanks

Thanks
