Hello,

For this query of yours could you try doing these steps:

Execute this command "gsmctl -I" to show the neighbour cells
It will output you similar things like this:

+QENG: "neighbourcell intra","LTE",2850,62,-10,-109,-79,0,18,4,22,10,62
+QENG: "neighbourcell inter","LTE",1602,16,-11,-102,-82,0,18,3,0,18
+QENG: "neighbourcell inter","LTE",3048,62,-12,-114,-93,0,0,4,0,16

Next after that you can try locking it to the preffered cell you want with the command "gsmctl -A AT+QNWLOCK="common/4g",1,X,X"

Example:
gsmctl -A AT+QNWLOCK="common/4g",1,1602,16

Then run "/etc/init.d/gsmd restart

Kindly let me know the results.

I hope it helps

Thank you and have a nice day!

Hi,

Thanks for your help.

First to be able to issue succesfully (i.e. without "not supported" or "Failed to find gsmd ubus object"), I needed to have gsmd service running. Then I do the following with the following result, i.e. serving cell is not changed:

root@Teltonika-RUTX09:~# gsmctl -I
+QENG: "neighbourcell intra","LTE",6300,467,-10,-98,-72,0,-,-,-,-,-
+QENG: "neighbourcell intra","LTE",6300,455,-12,-100,-79,0,-,-,-,-,-
+QENG: "neighbourcell intra","LTE",6300,438,-20,-112,-80,0,-,-,-,-,-
+QENG: "neighbourcell intra","LTE",6300,164,-19,-109,-81,0,-,-,-,-,-
+QENG: "neighbourcell intra","LTE",6300,434,-20,-110,-80,0,-,-,-,-,-
+QENG: "neighbourcell intra","LTE",6300,328,-17,-106,-83,0,-,-,-,-,-
+QENG: "neighbourcell intra","LTE",6300,322,-20,-112,-83,0,-,-,-,-,-
+QENG: "neighbourcell intra","LTE",6300,335,-18,-110,-81,0,-,-,-,-,-
root@Teltonika-RUTX09:~# gsmctl -K
+QENG: "servingcell","NOCONN","LTE","FDD",208,10,84AB911,467,6300,20,3,3,7851,-97,-8,-72,12,24
root@Teltonika-RUTX09:~# gsmctl -A AT+QNWLOCK="common/4g",1,6300,455
OK
root@Teltonika-RUTX09:~# gsmctl -K
+QENG: "servingcell","NOCONN","LTE","FDD",208,10,84AB911,467,6300,20,3,3,7851,-97,-11,-67,12,24

So cell locking seems not to be effective. Does something miss in the procedure ?
