Question

Hello,

I am a little lost setting up the Rut230 Modbus Slave. On the wiki there is all the parameters used to request the Modbus values however i am unsure of the addressing. How do you know if it is coils/holding reg/input registers etc?

Hi,

All values mentioned in the wiki that you can get are REGISTERS. So if it says that you can read them - use read holding register function (3).

If it says that you can set them - use Set single holding register (6).

Ahh i see, i have managed to get it working using the Holding Reg.
