Hi,
I would like to retrieve TA (Timing Advance) information of the connected LTE cell. I was not able to find it with gsmctl command, any other way ?

Hi,

In some cases, this is bound to Cell information and can only be retrieved from the operator itself.

In other cases, some of the modems out there are able to retrieve this information themselves, but our Quectel ones are not capable of this.

This information is always transmitted by NodeB to Ue as this is strictly required for any UL transmission (except RACH msg1).

So it is present in any modem. This is very useful information to determine the distance from base station and then to help to determine exactly which base station modem is connected to. Really unfortunate Quectel does not allow to access it.
