Are there any other ways that you can update the device firmware besides RMS, WebUI, SSH/SCP? Say if the .bin file was obtained off the Teltonika website, could it be pushed somehow through SMS to /tmp? Or alternatively, could the /etc/config/rut_fota server address be changed to a different server but still function?

Hi,

You can always push the firmware file through RMS and upload the firmware yourself through WebUI.

With SMS what you can do is send a fw_upgrade SMS utility and the router should contact the server and download the latest firmware version.

To have your own server you would have to contact the sales manager.
