I can log in to the WebGUI, but the modem reverts back to the login page after 3-4 seconds, requesting the password again.
This behavior originated from downgrading the firmware from 6.07.5 to 6.06 and the modem not accepting a new password.
I downgraded the firmware to something around 3.906 (back then passwords didn't need to be changed) and then back up to 6.07.0 and it once accepted a new password and this works now (otherwise I get the Invlaid Username/Password message), but the WebGUI is not usable in this state.

Hello,

Its best to upgrade device to latest firmware in bootloader mode.

For bootloader menu:

Thank you.

The latest firmware 6.07.5 breaks mobile broadband connectivity for me here in Australia with Telstra.
Why would I want to upgrade to that?
Its the reason I downgraded.

And I'm aware of the bootloader menu as I  downgraded the firmware and then subsequently upgraded it with that as the password request every 3-4 seconds makes it impossible to use the 'normal' WebGUI of the device for firmware changes (or anything else - it's not accepting changed settings in that state - the password request disturbs that process).

The password nagging must be anchored deeper than just firmware upgrades.
How can I upgrade/downgrade the Boatloder itself if that is the reason for nagging me with the password every 3-4 seconds?
There are no boatloader files for download like they are for the firmware anyway?!?

Also note, if my original question on this wouldn't have been removed you would have known that.

I tried to move that one to unanswered, but that doesn't work, which is why I rewrote the question.

Hello,

Did you tried on any other browser ? Because some related issues are sometimes because of browser also.

I haven't encountered this issue before. This is weird.

For the bootloader image download we don't provide anymore.

Please check in your DM i send you link for the bootloader.

Thanks

Yeah,  I tried Internet Explorer before, but that wasn't helping (outdated).

Did go back to Firefox and deleted not just cached web data but also cookies this time around per your suggestion (I cleared the cache before, but not the cookies) - that did the trick.
THANKS. yes

Now I can troubleshoot the modem :-)
