Using the Modbus Master alarms it is possible for the TRB140 to send SMS messages based on the status of a value read from a ModbusTCP slave device. If the SMS recipient should reply with an SMS containing a keyword, is there a way to cause the TRB140 Modbus master to write a value back to the Modbus slave? Thank you.

Hi,

You will be able to create alarms that will trigger on the changed register and send SMS to your number containing your own text. Also with alarm, you can trigger output or do a Modbus write request.

Unfortunately, but you won't be able to control Modbus through SMS messages.
