Hello,

please can you tell me the spec of the antenna that ship with the RUT955.   For example are they for indoor use only?   It seems a shame to replace them just because I don't know their spec.

Also - please can you explain the wifi antenna configuration on the RUT955.   i.e. are they redundant or is it one for tx and one for rx?.   Is it possible to operate with one antenna?

Hi,

RUT955 standard packaging includes these mobile: https://teltonika.lt/product/mobile-magnetic-sma-antenna/ and WiFi: https://teltonika.lt/product/wifi-magnetic-sma-antenna/. They do not have any ingress protection (IP) rating for environmental factors. However, looking at them I do not see any problems, you can not use it outdoors.

Two WiFi antennas is used for MIMO, to increase radio link capacity. Yes, you can use only one WiFi antenna, however this can effect Wifi connectivity range and speed.
