Hello,

I have a RUT240 with a public IP, configured ddns, and configured VPN (L2TP/IPsec).

while I am in the routers lan, I can access the Web UI via local IP / via Public IP / via DDNS address.

Over the WAN I cannot access the Web UI (not with ddns and not with Public IP).

I reset the router and checked the firewall but nothing is possible. Access via VPN is also not working.

What has to be configured to be able to reach the RUT240 over WAN?

Thanks.

Hello,

Your solution can be found in this other ticket.

Unfortunately this doesn't help since I already followed those steps and configured remote HTTP, SSH and CLI access - without success.

Did you change rules on firewall?

I suggest you to restore the device to default settings and try again.

Nevertheless, are you sure that you have a public reachable IP. Please take a look to this link.

Regards.

I did not reset the device and installed the latest firmware. Then I configured remote HTTP, SSH and CLI access.

My Public reachable IP is currently 80.226.94.10. I can ping the IP but get no HTTP access.

Can you see your public IP into the RUT WebUI?

In the WAN widget of your overview?

Yes, the public IP is visible.

Hi,

Is your router UP? I tried to ping to this IP address and can't detect your device.

Nevertheless, please send me your troubleshoot file via DM
