We have several RUT240 devices that shown as "not activated" in RMS portal. Though we are sure that devices were configured correctly and have access to Internet through 4G. Wondering how we can contact Teltonika support to check if devices are trying to connect to RMS portal. We have no physical access to devices since they are on our customers side to check error logs on routers.

Check https://wiki.teltonika-networks.com/view/RUT240_SMS_Utilities#Monitoring_status

Send a text to your device containing: <adminpasswd> <command>
Command = monitoring_status or monitoringon or monitoringoff

Example text received:

Monitoring - enabled;
Connection state - Connection closed;
Serial number - xxxxxxxxxxx;
LAN MAC - 00:1E:42:XX:XX:XX;

Make sure you have registered the device serials in RMS and activated Service and Monitoring under Services - Management in RMS portal.

If monitoring is disabled, enable with

Hello,

Good day ,

Thank you for contacting us.

May i know if you can confirm what firmware device is using ? could you try upgrading it to the latest ?

https://wiki.teltonika-networks.com/view/RUT240_SMS_Utilities#Force_FW_upgrade_from_server

Have you tried rebooting the device through sms commands if it works?

https://wiki.teltonika-networks.com/view/RUT240_SMS_Utilities#Reboot

Does it has enough credits to continue the service ?

Is the options in the below image enabled in the RMS?
