Hi gents,

with TRB140 the login via SSH and root / admin01 doesn't work. Also in the WEBGUI there is no option to setup a new SSH user.

Any comments or advice how to proceed?

Hi,

First of all, please check if you're on the latest firmware version - if you're not try to update.

If the issue is still there, try just factory resetting the router to default factory settings.

Make sure, you're not using some kind of old profile when logging in into 192.168.2.1, you could try another app for SSH, Putty for example.

  • FW update done
  • I'm using putty for all ssh access
  • Factory reset done by pushing the reset button for 5 sec.

--> no effect, still no access --> access denied

Could it be that you locked yourself up from SSH access and now you're in the blacklist?

You can remove yourself from the blacklist by the steps shown on this wiki page.

Also, please check if you're using the right language on your keyboard.

You was right, I was blocked --> removed

tryed once again with root / admin01 --> access denied and blocked again

May we can have a remote session?

I will try to restore the factory settings via software.
