I have an odd issue with the setup wizard on a new RUT955: After connecting to the web UI and entering the default credentials, the screen where you need to set the password appears as usual. However, when I try to save the new password, it dumps me immediately back to the login form. Browser console says:

Tried every kind of factory reset I could find or think off, but it's still stuck in the same place. Has anybody ever seen this before or know a way to do an even deeper factory reset? Or should I just return the unit (it's not deployed yet and under warranty).

Thanks!

PS: I suppose I could try to set it up through the shell, but at this point I don't trust the state of the system anymore.

Hello,

In your case, I would suggest re-flash your device firmware using the bootloader menu. All the information on how to do it can be found right here: https://wiki.teltonika-networks.com/view/RUT9xx_Firmware_via_The_Bootloader_Menu

Let me know if it solves your issue.

Best regards.

Sorry for the late response, was out of office for a few days. The issue actually turned out to be with the browser: after deleting all the cookies associated with 192.168.1.1 I've been able to successfully complete the setup wizard again. Honestly, I don't know how it got into that state to begin with, but alas.

But thanks for your prompt response!
