HI,

I have a RUT955. Some devices can connect and get an IP address, some not.

I updated the firmware (through the web interface and using the boot loader) from
RUT9XX_R_00.06.07.4 | 2020.12.21
to
RUT9XX_R_00.06.07.7 | 2021.04.12

On Windows I get an Autoconfiguration IP Address assigned.

There is no problem receiving a lease when connected with the cable.

Hello,

Thank you for contacting us.

May i know if it was working fine on the older firmware ?

Did you check if you haven't set static IP on the end devices that are unable to get IP from DHCP of Rut device.

Issue is on wireless only as you mentioned that on cable its fine ?

Thanks.

Regards,

Ahmee

Hi Ahmee,

Thank you for your answer.

I sent the unit back to Amazon and bought a new one (RUT950 instead of RUT955).
This one works fine for the moment.

As to your questions: it was not working on the older firmware. That's why I did the upgrade. There were no static IP's set. The issue was on Wireless only.

Since I returned the unit, this case can be closed.

Thanks again!
