Question

Hello, I started the router for the first time and wanted to connect via WiFi. Unfortunately, the WiFi is encrypted and I don't have a password to set up the connection. A password is required that has at least 8 characters. Can someone tell me what the password is. "Admin01" has only 7 characters.

Hello, 

The default settings of RUT850 is not having any password set to its WiFi SSID. So it would be best to reset the device to the default settings by pushing the reset button for 5 seconds.

Now for the Web UI credentials, the default username is: admin and the password will be: admin01

I have same issue. After reset to factory setup there is still password require for Wifi.

Just reset the device to factory settings you can do that by holding the reset button until all the Mobile signal lights are turned on then release the reset button.

My RUT850 also wants a WiFi password after factory reset.

The password is printed on the label at the back of the device.
