I have a IPSEC tunnel setup.

Using Pings to the remote end to ensure tunnel is up is not always working and doesn't seem stable.

If I ping the remote end from the RUT240 I get no response even though I am communicating with the router via the IPSEC tunnel at the time, I can ping from the remote end to the RUT240 OK. If I ping 8.8.8.8 that works so data going out over mobile.

Can I force HTTP & ICMP down the tunnel?

Is static route added for the remote subnet? It looks like it is requirement even tho RUT uses policy-based VPN.

No everything routing wise is set to defaults.

Just check the KB for VPN setup. It is mentioned there

If that's 'KB' for the SA, it only allows hours not data (KB) ?
