Hi,

how to forward traffic to port 22 (SSH) on some ip, say 192.168.1.10?

I have one device on WAN port (use wan as lan is set up) and through CLI I can ssh into it, but not from outside, through public ip?

Port forwarding to pc that is connected to LAN port works fine.

It simply says connection timed out. I can normally ssh into router cli and then to ssh into this device, but I need direct ssh to copy files.

Thanks.

Hello,

For this inquiry of yours, I would like to know if you are having a Public IP address, if yes then maybe you also enabled the Remote SSH access on the router which is running at port 22 as default so the best thing to do is to try assigning a different external port for the 192.168.1.10 device.

For more info you can refer to these links:

I hope it helps
