Hi,

I am confused about the signal strength value on RMS for my RUT240 unit.

Is -70dBm a stronger or a weaker signal than -80dBm?

If you have a very good 4G mobile signal, what's the value (range) should be for -xxdBm?

If you have a really weak 4G mobile signal, what's the value (range) should be for -xxdBm?

Is it OK to roughly convert signal strength into 0 to 100%, like the status bar on your smart phone to indicate signal strength?

Thanks!

You have to look at the RSSI (Recived Signal Strenght Indicator)...

In accord with the negative numbers, a lower value (for ex. -90) means a weaker signal. In the other hand an higher value like -70 means a better signal...  The range from -67 to -30 db is the most powerful.

If u need to convert them in % I suggest to set -110 to 0% and -45 to 100%
