I am using http to send sms messages with the sms_send command with an RUT240.

http://1.2.3.4/cgi-bin/sms_send?username=xxx&password=xxx&number=12345678&text=xxx

This works very well most of the time, and I get the response "OK". However occasionally the message fails to send and I get the response "LIMIT". What does this mean please?

It is not because the message is too long.

Hello,

May i know what is the firmware on the device ?

Have you tried to upgrade to the latest

Further have you tried clearing / deleting the sim memory if its not full ?

Kindly let me know.

Thanks

We are having the exact same issue with our 240.

Firmware was on .12 and now upgraded .14 - this makes no difference to the problem.

There were 3/20 messages on the SIM - these have been deleted.

SIM works fine in a phone.  Also tried a 2nd and 3rd SIM in the Teltonika and these dont work either.

The Logs have also stopped updating, they are all completely empty.

I have updated a second RUT240 to firmware .14 and this works fine using the web servers SMS funciton and the POST  function.

What are the SSH commands to see the SMS limit?
