Hi Guys,

I have a need to provide a few faster feeds than a single modem can give.

On the rutx09, I've not managed to get load balancing working as yet. It always seems to run one modem or the other.

Anyone had any success or have any tips?

Cheers, Dave

Hello,

RUTX09 is not a dual modem router and you will not be able to make both SIM cards work at the same time and use load balancing between them.

For this case, you need RUTX12 which has two active modems and will do just what you've described.

Cheers EB,

So the load balance function of the rutx09 is a red herring then?

It's in the menus amongst WAN options, so is that an error that its in there then?

It's there because you can load balance another interface - Wired WAN.

Thanks :)

Hi,

Could you please private message me where did you get that false information then?

As we're looking to always improve, it would be a nice gesture from you to point at our mistakes so in the future it would not be made again.

Of course, you have your right to hold this information to yourself, which is also okay. At least I'm glad I could help you to clear this issue out!
