I’ve tried the 2 different SIM cards from different providers (both tested in a phone) using both Auto API and operator provided APN settings but still can not get generate or receive an SMS

Also, I’m not convinced its an APN issue, I’ve noticed the web interface is very slow and I can see the indication LED’s cycling from 2G, 3G, 4G and up / down the signal strength and then seems to restart the registration cycle

Firmware is RUT2XX_R_00.01.13.3_WEBUI,

Hello, 

For the issue you are having it would be best if you upgrade the firmware to the latest one without keeping the settings. You can download the firmware from this link: RUT240 Firmware Downloads - Teltonika Networks Wiki (teltonika-networks.com)

Next is for the Web UI response tried to clear your web browser cache and test it again. Also make sure that you inserted both Mobile antenna and the device is able to get good signal quality from the Sim card ISP.

I've update without keeping settings and setup again, managed to receive an SMS using two different providers but still can not send any?

Hello,

Could you share with me a copy of the troubleshoot file. Also, try to make sure the sim card is having SMS package. And kindly try inserting the sim card into your mobile phone and check if it is able to send SMS messages.

A screenshot of the error you are receiving will be good also.

Thank you for the provided information. Could you try re-flashing the firmware via bootloader firmware upgrade you can do so by following the steps mentioned in this link: RUT240 Device Recovery Options - Teltonika Networks Wiki (teltonika-networks.com)

Then after doing so let me know the results

Hi

The firmware has been re-flashed via the bootloader.  The LIMIT issue on the SMS Send is still occurring, this is normally used via the SMS Gateway function but It's not even functioning via the devices own web interface.

There are no config pages in relation to SMS Daily limits, are there any CLI or AT^ commands we can push to see if there is a limit enabled and what it is?
